Today is National Runners Day!!!! 🏻‍♀️🏻‍♀️🏻‍♀️🏻‍♀️#Even if you’re not a runner, you have run at some point in your life away or towards something or somebody – whether it’s from a bug, playing tag as a child, sports or towards that big goal or dream. #We are all born to RUN and I am so grateful for starting my running journey at the age of 14. As many of you know by now, I was not able to run down the block without being out of breath and I decide to join my High School Track Team. I had asthma and a asthma pump and knew something had to be done. Growing up I never struggled with my weight but I definitely struggled with my cardiovascular fitness. #I so am grateful, 23 years later – running hundreds of races and continuing to coach hundreds of people, I am excited to say the race has just begun! #Running has taught me discipline, and what time really means in reality – just one minute of time could feel like an eternity when approaching the finish line during a race and one split second could be the determinant point in missing that “BIG” opportunity, or just reaching your highest dream. #If you have been struggling with your health, I encourage you to run towards your health… starting today! Don’t get bogged down on it’s not the right time because it will never will be – just start – take a step, a walk, have one less coffee or drink, cut one “food like thing” per day out of your diet, go to sleep 15 minutes early and wake up 15 minutes later – whatever it is for you, I challenge you to make that decision today! #Get out there and make it happen because what ever your race may be in life, I am here to support you❣️ Cheers to health, – Cynthia xo#nationalrunnersday #running #purpose #wellnesscouture # wellnesscouturenyc #precisionrunning #equinox #equinoxmademedoit #futhermore #committosomething
